Are you a skilled and reliable chef looking for a seasonal opportunity in a fast-paced café environment?

We are seeking an experienced Chef to help run a popular café during our peak tourist season.

  • Length: 3 months
  • Hours: 8am - 4pm, 5 days a week, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Pay: £16 per hour PAYE or £20.50 Umbrella

About the Role

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, preparing and serving quality café-style comfort food while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking fresh café-style comfort food
  • Managing ticket orders efficiently during busy service periods
  • Assisting with stock control and food preparation
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen
  • Opening and closing the kitchen each day
  • Ensuring all food safety procedures are followed
  • Working effectively as part of a busy team

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a busy café, restaurant, or hospitality setting
  • Ability to work well under pressure during peak trading times
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Food Safety Certificate (essential)
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
  • Available to work weekends and bank holidays
