Hours: Flexible – start between 8:00am and 9:30am, finish time dependent on start; 7.24 minutes a day with a 30‑minute unpaid break.
Duration: Temporary, 9 months to cover maternity leave.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Use Controcc system – training provided if required.
- Liaise with care providers to resolve payment and billing queries.
- Handle queries from social workers regarding payments.
- Manage payments to providers delivering social care services.
- Raise invoices and support the billing function.
- Initially focus on payments, with billing responsibilities increasing once confident.
Qualifications
- Basic finance knowledge or experience, including finance admin and accounts payable.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills for dealing with internal teams and external providers.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Open to graduates or post‑graduates.
- Experience within a finance team or accounts payable is desirable but not essential.
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent – Grades A‑C or 4‑9, including Maths and English.
