The role
Hazelwick School seeks engaging and motivated Learning Support Assistants to join its existing team. The role will largely involve supporting students in lessons and may also include some 1:1 or small group work with students.
Key responsibilities
- Provide in-class support to students across a range of subjects
- Deliver targeted 1:1 or small-group interventions as required
- Assist with the development of students' literacy and numeracy skills
Requirements
- A good standard of education
- IT literate with excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Classroom experience or experience of working with young people is advantageous
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Benefits & package
- Grade 4 salary of £16,472 per annum inclusive of Crawley Market Supplement
- 27 hours and 30 minutes per week, term time only
- Working hours of 8.55am to 3pm, Monday to Friday
- Support and training provided as necessary
