The role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of PE (Girl’s) who is passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential. This is a permanent, 1.0 FTE position on the Main Pay Scale T1–T9 (£34,069 – £52,835), required as soon as possible. The successful candidate will teach mainly girls’ PE across KS3 and KS4 and will be committed to high-quality teaching, inclusive practice and making a positive contribution to our vibrant extra-curricular and personal development programme.
Key responsibilities
- Teaching mainly girls’ PE across KS3 and KS4
- Supporting students’ wellbeing and personal development as a form tutor
- Contributing to extra-curricular sport and enrichment opportunities
- Promoting the school’s values through high standards of professionalism and conduct
Requirements
- Ability to inspire and motivate students across KS3 and KS4
- High expectations and a commitment to inclusive, adaptive teaching
- Strong subject knowledge in PE
- Capacity to build positive relationships with students, staff and families
- Willingness to contribute enthusiastically to the wider life of the school
- Passion for seeing young people thrive and achieve their full potential, with high expectations for students’ attainment and personal development
