The role
Bradfield College is seeking an outstanding piano teacher to join its thriving and ambitious Music Department. This is a visiting position of approximately 6 hours per week initially. You will teach pupils aged 13 to 18 across a wide range of abilities, inspiring everyone from recreational players to musicians preparing for examinations, diplomas and conservatoire auditions.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-structured piano lessons to pupils of varying abilities and aspirations.
- Support performances and encourage pupils to participate in the wider College music programme.
- Work closely with the collaborative team of specialist music teachers.
Requirements
- Accomplished pianist with strong teaching experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons.
- Enthusiastic, organised and committed to helping every pupil fulfil their musical potential.
- Willingness to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
