Schoolblazer have brought genuine product flair and innovation to the school uniform market. Our sister sportswear brand, Limitless, has developed an innovative range of sports and teamwear, focussed on encouraging every child to enjoy being active. We are now seeking an experienced Account Manager to help to support our growth.

Founded in 2004, Schoolblazer pioneered a new approach to schoolwear. We employ our own in-house design team and developed our own range of products, sourced directly. This has allowed us to deliver significant growth, giving us a 1/3rd of the market share in the premium schoolwear market.

We are known for delivering excellent customer service and innovative product. We aim to build strong relationships across our schools through Heads, Bursars, Directors of Sport and beyond. We are now expanding our account team to provide more focus on our existing schools, maintaining and driving these relationships whilst managing new product introductions and changes. You will also take responsibility for some of our new school product and relationship development. Managing the process after the contract has been awarded to ensure that ranges are delivered to expectations.

Working alongside our existing account management team, you will be expected to:

· Engage your allocated list of existing schools to ensure our schools are very well looked after and aware of our most up to date products and key initiatives, including our focus on ethical trading and sustainability.

· Manage the product introduction process in existing and new schools.

· Attend key events in schools and conferences.

· Manage and resolve any issues or problems that arise at a school level

To succeed in this role, you will be:

· Confident and articulate – both written and verbal: you will need to be able to communicate clearly with senior leaders at our partner schools

· Driven: recognising the potential future for our business and your own career, working hard to achieve that

· Highly organised with strong attention to detail: our business relies on 100% delivery. You will need to be able to support our Head Office team with a clear brief to ensure that we deliver your promises. Attention to detail is absolutely key in this role

· A “people person”: relationships internally and externally are pivotal to the success of this position.

Our Business Values

We have a very clear set of values that are key to our brands’ success and our operation:

· We make it easy for our customers

· We deliver on our promises

· We innovate and learn

· We find solutions

· We are one team

The Successful Candidate

We have no fixed conceptions! We are a people-driven, entrepreneurial business who believe that drive, fit with our values and a willingness to learn are at least as important as experience. This is not a cold-calling sales role. The successful candidate will prioritise long-term relationships over the short-term “thrill of winning”.

Location and Working Hours

Our Head Office is in Oundle. A town half-way between Northampton and Peterborough. This job is primarily based “on the road” visiting our Schools across the UK, so the candidate needs to be comfortable with travelling and nights away. Initially you will be supported in this with a senior manager responsible for your training and development. You would be expected to be primarily in the office when not out visiting, to liaise with our design, product buying and development teams and to keep abreast of new developments. Driving licence essential.
