Staffing Solutions are recruiting for Teaching Assistants on behalf of a SEN school in Doncaster that provides a safe, supportive environment for pupils aged 14-16 who have faced or are at risk of permanent exclusion due to challenging behaviours. They specialise in re-engaging students through a personalised curriculum that inspires and challenges, preparing them for success beyond school. The dedicated team offers a broad range of academic and vocational courses, empowering students to build confidence and achieve their full potential in a nurturing, friendly setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and inspire learners in the classroom, at home, and outdoors
  • Help prepare learning materials and focus on behaviour management
  • Write daily reports on student progress and challenges
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers

Requirements

  • Is passionate about supporting students with SEND/SEMH/ASC
  • Has at least 2 years' experience in a SEND school or similar setting
  • Level 3 TA qualification is a plus
  • Maths and English GCSE grade 4/Level C
  • QTS/QTLS is a plus
