About the Opportunity: AnthroMed Education is looking for a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in Brighton, MI. This is a full-time, FMLA position starting in October 2026 through June 17th, 2027. As a School Social Worker with AnthroMed, you’ll join a dynamic, collaborative team that values student success, personal growth, and professional development. Caseload and Environment:
- Targeted Caseload: High school students across one building.
- Focus: Supporting students across a variety of needs/programs, including a mild CI classroom.
- Work alongside another social worker in the building who supports the alternative education program.
- Dedicated Space: You will have a private, dedicated office space in each building to conduct sessions and meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect social work services to students in need of emotional, behavioral, and social support.
- Support and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team including teachers, SLPs, and OTs.
- Conduct IEP evaluations and contribute to the development of meaningful student goals.
- Facilitate small group and individual sessions.
- Lead and support the implementation of BIPs and FBAs.
- Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to advocate for student needs.
- Support students and families in accessing community resources.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Michigan School Social Work Certification (Required)
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $57,500 - $75,000 salary OR $47.00 - $63.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications (paid weekly)
