Role Overview
As a Writer (Generalist Evaluator Expert), you’ll help shape the future of AI by designing prompts, defining evaluation standards, and assessing model outputs. This role requires precision, creativity, and a strong grasp of instructional writing. You’ll work independently while collaborating with QA teams to ensure consistency and rigor across tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimise prompts with multiple constraints and clear instructions
- Define and document evaluation standards and rubrics for general consumer contexts
- Conduct model testing and assess outputs against expectations
- Support benchmarking and QA processes to ensure consistency and reliability
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine prompt tasks before integration
Minimum Qualifications
- BS or BA from a reputable institution (completed or in progress)
- Strong writing and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with ChatGPT or similar tools for personal or professional use
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in teaching or academic research
- Background in instructional design or technical writing
