Sandstone Care Group is seeking compassionate Care Assistants (Earlies) to join the team at Telford Hall Care Home, a modern 66-bed nursing home in Lawley, Telford. Job Summary
Care Assistants will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring dignity, comfort, and engagement. The role requires compassion, strong communication skills, and flexibility to meet residents’ needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support residents with meals, hydration, and dietary needs
- Encourage participation in activities and social interaction
- Monitor residents’ health and well-being, reporting changes promptly
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Document care activities accurately and communicate with team members
- Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment
- Participate in ongoing training and development
