Overview
DataAnnotation is hiring a Proofreader to help train and refine AI language models. This is a remote, flexible contract role open to UK-based applicants, ideal for individuals with strong writing, editing, and analytical skills.
You’ll work on projects that involve evaluating AI-generated content, testing chatbot logic, and improving model performance through detailed feedback and linguistic precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign complex tasks to AI chatbots and evaluate their outputs
- Assess the quality, accuracy, and clarity of AI-generated text
- Provide feedback to improve grammar, style, tone, and brand voice
- Apply research and fact‑checking skills to ensure content reliability
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual level)
- Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
- Detail-oriented with strong editing and proofreading skills
- A current, in-progress, or completed Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Interest in writing, editing, and language use
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: Starting at $20+ USD per hour, with bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work
