SchemeServe, a UK-based Insurance SaaS provider with over 22 years of innovation, is seeking a talented Product Designer (UX/UI) to join its team. This role focuses on designing intuitive solutions for the insurance accounting module, balancing product strategy with hands-on design execution.
You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver impactful user experiences, while contributing to the company’s design system and culture of innovation.
Role OverviewAs a Product Designer, you’ll own the end-to-end design process—from discovery research and user flows to polished UI. You’ll translate complex insurance workflows into simple, elegant experiences, champion user needs, and ensure scalability through design systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct discovery research to identify project requirements and scope
- Translate complex insurance workflows into intuitive user experiences
- Own the design process: research, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI
- Collaborate with engineers for precise design implementation
- Champion user needs using data and research across the product lifecycle
- Contribute to and evolve the design system for scalability and efficiency
- Resident in the UK
- 3+ years’ experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role
- High proficiency in Figma
- Strong portfolio showcasing product thinking, UX flows, and visual design skills
- Experience with SaaS or enterprise products (insurance/fintech a bonus)
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- Comfortable switching between product strategy and detailed design execution
