Avanti Homecare is seeking Homecare Assistants to join its award‐winning, family‐run business. This full‐time role offers competitive pay, UK visa sponsorship, and the opportunity to provide compassionate care to individuals in their own homes.
Location: Nottingham NG2 7AQ (in‐person role; Derbyshire branches in Ilkeston, Long Eaton, and Ripley)
Pay: £12.82 per hour (weekdays and weekends) + £2.10 per house visit
Job Type: Full‐Time
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Minimum of 39 guaranteed weekly hours (rota includes morning, lunch, tea, and bed calls)

Job Summary
Homecare Assistants will provide personal care, household support, and companionship to clients living in their own homes. The role requires empathy, reliability, and a positive attitude, with opportunities for training and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care and support to individuals in their own homes
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Handle household tasks such as grocery shopping and laundry
- Prepare and serve meals at appropriate times
- Administer and organise medication
- Collaborate with healthcare and social care professionals
- Complete accurate and detailed visit notes
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of care experience
- Full UK driving licence and access to own car, motorbike, or moped
- Empathetic, reliable, and punctual
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Must already be in the UK and eligible for sponsorship
£12.82 per hour + £2.10 per house visit
Minimum 39 guaranteed weekly hours

Care Certificate, Advanced Dementia, and End of Life training in first year
4 days of paid CPD annually
