Role Overview

The Care Assistant will support residents with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily activities. The role also includes light domestic duties and contributing to a positive and respectful care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care (washing, dressing, bathing)
• Assist with domestic tasks (laundry, drink preparation, washing up)
• Support residents with dementia, learning disabilities, and frailty
• Work collaboratively as part of the care team
• Uphold dignity and independence of residents
• Participate in training and development programs

Required Skills and Experience

Essential

• Experience in home care or care home settings
• Understanding of care plans and person-centred care
• Care Certificate (or willingness to complete)
• Compassionate and reliable nature
• Ability to work as part of a team

Desirable

• Driving skills (not specified as essential)
