Housekeeping Assistant – Horder Healthcare

Location: The McIndoe Centre, East Grinstead, RH19 3EB
Salary: £20,685.60 – £21,057.40 per year (pro rata, experience dependent)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, including weekends (1 in 3) and Bank Holidays (2 per year)
Closing Date: 30 November 2025

About the Role
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across patient areas, clinical spaces, and communal zones. Your work will directly support infection control standards and contribute to a positive patient experience. The role includes weekend and holiday shifts on a rotational basis.

Responsibilities

  • Clean patient rooms, clinical areas, and public spaces to high standards

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota
  • Must have the right to work in the UK independently (visa sponsorship not available)
  • Successful candidates will undergo pre-employment checks including an Enhanced DBS
