Home Care Assistant – Delta Care Ltd (Southport, England)
Delta Care Ltd is hiringfull-time and part-time Home Care Assistants to support individuals in their own homes across Southport, including Town Centre, Formby, Birkdale, Ainsdale, and surrounding areas. This is a community-based role offering competitive pay of £12.62–£12.80 per hour, plus 30p per mile in mileage reimbursement. Role Overview
As a Home Care Assistant, you’ll help clients live safely and independently by providing personal care, medication support, and assistance with daily tasks. You’ll work on the road, visiting clients in their homes during scheduled shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow individualized care plans
- Assist with getting in/out of bed, washing, bathing, and dressing
- Prepare meals, drinks, and snacks
- Support with toileting and clothing changes
- Help with household tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and managing finances
- Adhere to health and safety policies
Shifts Available
- Mornings: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Evenings: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Weekend Work: Every other Saturday and Sunday is required
Pay and Benefits
- Monday to Friday: £12.62/hour (includes 40p performance bonus)
- Saturday to Sunday: £12.80/hour (includes 40p performance bonus)
- Mileage: 30p per mile
- Company pension
