Accordia Care is seeking motivated Mental Health Support Workers to join its supported living service in Epsom, Surrey. This full-time role offers competitive pay, paid training, career progression, and Tier 2 sponsorship for eligible candidates living locally.

Job Summary

Mental Health Support Workers provide person-centred care for adults with forensic mental health backgrounds, challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, and autism. The role involves supporting service users in their homes, enabling them to live meaningful lives within their community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding person-centred care
  • Support individuals with mental health needs, autism, and challenging behaviours
  • Engage in physical activities with service users (e.g., biking, fishing, swimming)
  • Work confidently alone and as part of a wider team
  • Assist with daily living tasks, care planning, and risk management

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience working with people with mental health, autism, challenging behaviours, and learning disabilities

  • Experience in forensic mental health, supported living, or residential care
  • NVQ qualification in social care or Care Certificate (training can be provided)
  • Knowledge of diabetes care (training can be provided)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Living within a 30-minute commute to Epsom
