Role Summary:
This is a hands-on opportunity to join a highly respected, family-run home care provider delivering person-centred support to older adults in their own homes. As a Community Healthcare Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. No prior experience is required—comprehensive training is provided. However, applicants must be drivers with access to their own vehicle, as travel between client homes is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personal care with sensitivity and respect
- Administer or assist with medication as directed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Support mobility and safe movement around the home
- Carry out light household tasks to maintain a clean environment
- Communicate clearly and kindly with clients and their families
- Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Willingness to work alternate weekends
