Job Summary
Care Assistants will provide personal care, companionship, and practical support to elderly clients in their homes. The role requires a caring nature, reliability, and a full UK driving licence with access to a car.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and hygiene needs
- Provide food and drink support
- Support mobility and manual handling
- Deliver palliative care when required
- Carry out light domestic duties
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Run errands such as shopping or collecting prescriptions
Candidate Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (required)
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous care or support worker experience desirable but not essential (training provided)
- Kind, compassionate, and committed to delivering excellent care
- Willingness to travel (50% required)
Guaranteed hours with flexible scheduling, paid mileage (25p per mile between calls), company pension scheme, sick pay entitlement, health and wellbeing programme, enhanced bank holiday pay rates, uniform and PPE provided, free Blue Light Card (discounts at hundreds of retailers), referral bonus (£50 for referring a friend), 24/7 Carer Support Line and dedicated Care Manager feedback, support to complete Care Certificate and NVQs.
