Britannia Social Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistants to support clients with complex needs, dementia, and palliative care in their own homes. This role is available on a full-time, part-time, or bank basis and offers flexible scheduling across Wolverhampton, Cannock, Staffordshire, and Hampshire.

Role Overview
The Health Care Assistant will deliver personal care, medication support, and companionship to clients in their homes. You’ll follow detailed care plans and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer medication as required
- Support clients’ independence and safety
- Maintain accurate care records and report health changes
- Engage clients in social activities
- Provide complex care (PEG, NIV, oxygen therapy, suction, tracheostomy) with training
- Deliver holistic end-of-life care in collaboration with multi-agency teams
- Ensure a clean and safe environment
Required Skills and Experience
Essential
- Minimum 1 year experience in home care, nursing home, or supported living
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Basic IT skills
- Caring and empathetic attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts
Desirable
- GCSE or equivalent qualification
- Experience with complex care or palliative support
