Role Overview

As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide both personal and domestic support to clients in their homes. This includes helping with daily routines, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and social activities. No prior experience is required—just a caring attitude and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, toileting, dressing)
• Support with daily routines and mobility
• Prepare and cook meals
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks
• Escort clients to appointments or social activities
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the care team

Required Skills and Experience

Essential

• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Right to work in the UK
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to relocate
• Satisfactory references and ability to pass an enhanced DBS check

Desirable

• 1 year of experience in Health and Social Care
• Care Certificate or willingness to complete training
