Job Description
As a BANK Apprenticeship Assessor, you’ll deliver work-based training and apprenticeship programs to a dedicated caseload of learners in the healthcare sector. You’ll work closely with employers, line managers, and workplace facilitators to create dynamic and personalized learning experiences.
This role offers the flexibility to work primarily from home, with occasional travel as needed. You’ll be responsible for coaching, assessing, and supporting learners throughout their journey, ensuring they meet the standards required for successful qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver apprenticeship standards at Levels 3 to 5 in Healthcare (e.g., Healthcare Support Worker)
- Conduct inductions, coaching sessions, and blended assessments
- Provide pastoral support and build individualized learning plans
- Maintain high standards of learning and assessment through ongoing professional development
- Collaborate with managers and facilitators to ensure learner success
- Monitor progress and motivate learners to achieve their goals
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience delivering healthcare apprenticeship standards up to Level 5
- A recognized assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, or equivalent)
- Substantial experience working in a healthcare setting
- A Level 5 qualification in healthcare or equivalent
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A proactive, learner-focused approach to education
