The Back Office Analyst will support trade settlement, reconciliations, and compliance with FCA regulations. The role involves liaising with custodians, counterparties, and clients, while gaining exposure to international platforms such as SWIFT and Euroclear.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support timely and accurate trade settlement and cash transfers
  • Perform daily reconciliations between internal systems and custodians
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, including CASS (Client Assets Sourcebook)
  • Monitor and maintain accurate booking of trades and positions
  • Liaise with custodians, counterparties, and clients regarding settlement issues
  • Assist with regulatory reporting and back‑office controls
  • Gain experience with international platforms such as SWIFT and Euroclear
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (2:1 or equivalent required)
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive
  • Good understanding of financial markets and settlement operations
  • Knowledge of FCA rules (CASS) preferred; willingness to learn essential
  • Previous back‑office or finance experience advantageous but not required
