Role Overview
As a Home Care Assistant, you’ll provide personal care, companionship, and practical support tailored to each client. Your role is about making visits meaningful, offering reassurance, and encouraging independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support with personal care (washing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with daily routines and light housekeeping
- Help clients access community activities and appointments
- Observe changes in wellbeing and report concerns
- Work in line with care plans while adapting to individual needs
Required Skills and Experience
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Right to work in the UK
- Caring, patient, and respectful attitude
- Reliability and pride in your work
- Previous care experience (not required; full training provided)
- Strong communication skills in English
- Basic IT skills for record keeping
