Role Overview

As a Home Care Assistant, you’ll provide personal care, companionship, and practical support tailored to each client. Your role is about making visits meaningful, offering reassurance, and encouraging independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support with personal care (washing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation)
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with daily routines and light housekeeping
  • Help clients access community activities and appointments
  • Observe changes in wellbeing and report concerns
  • Work in line with care plans while adapting to individual needs

Required Skills and Experience

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Caring, patient, and respectful attitude
  • Reliability and pride in your work
  • Previous care experience (not required; full training provided)
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping
