SchemeServe, a UK-based Insurance SaaS provider with over 22 years of innovation, is seeking a talented Product Designer (UX/UI) to join its team. This role focuses on designing intuitive solutions for the insurance accounting module, balancing product strategy with hands-on design execution. You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver impactful user experiences, while contributing to the company’s design system and culture of innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery research to identify project requirements and scope
- Translate complex insurance workflows into intuitive user experiences
- Own the design process: research, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI
- Collaborate with engineers for precise design implementation
- Champion user needs using data and research across the product lifecycle
- Contribute to and evolve the design system for scalability and efficiency
Eligibility Requirements
- Resident in the UK
- 3+ years’ experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role
- High proficiency in Figma
- Strong portfolio showcasing product thinking, UX flows, and visual design skills
- Experience with SaaS or enterprise products (insurance/fintech a bonus)
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- Comfortable switching between product strategy and detailed design execution
