BEAR Scotland Limited is currently hiring a Graduate Data Analyst to join its Commercial Team in Perth, Scotland. Offering a competitive salary range of £27,000 to £39,000 per year, this full-time role is ideal for recent graduates with a passion for data, analytics, and infrastructure development. This opportunity offers hands-on experience, hybrid flexibility, and the chance to contribute to the maintenance and improvement of Scotland’s trunk roads.

BEAR Scotland is a leading provider of road maintenance and management services, responsible for maintaining Scottish Trunk Roads, bridges, and structures across some of the country’s most scenic and challenging regions. The company builds local delivery teams supported by national partners and SME suppliers to deliver economic, flexible, and sustainable services.

As a Graduate Data Analyst, you’ll work closely with the Commercial Team to manage and analyze valuation, asset, and measurement data. You’ll support procurement documentation, uncover trends, and collaborate with operational leaders to turn insights into actionable tools that improve delivery efficiency. This is a full-time role (40 hours/week), Monday to Friday, with hybrid working available after three months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze valuation and asset data for accuracy and strategic tracking
  • Support the creation of procurement documents to drive commercial success
  • Manage and interpret measurement data to identify trends and support planning
  • Collaborate with operational and commercial leads to develop data-driven management tools
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of commercial processes and reporting

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • HNC or equivalent in Business Administration or a related field
  • Experience with data analysis and BI reporting
  • Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and workspace creation
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments
