Manchester Prime Care is seeking compassionate Health Care Assistants to provide essential support to patients in their own homes. This role is ideal for individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives while working within a supportive team environment.
Role Overview
- Assist clients with daily living activities, implement care plans, and provide companionship.
- You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, dignity, and wellbeing of those in your care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Support implementation of individual care plans
- Monitor and record health information, reporting changes to office staff
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in clients’ homes
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of care
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in English with strong communication skills
- Valid UK driving licence (required for transporting clients)
- Compassionate, reliable, and respectful attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills
- 1 year of care experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with care plans and documentation
- Basic IT skills for record keeping
