Exemplar Health Care Services Limited is seeking Health Care Assistants to join the team at Ravensdale Care Home in Leeds. This full-time permanent role offers competitive pay, strong benefits, and the opportunity to provide compassionate care for adults living with complex needs.

Location: Ravensdale Care Home, Whinmoor, Leeds LS14 2DA (in-person role)

Pay: Β£12.21 per hour (increasing to Β£12.31/hour upon completion of Exemplar Care Certificate)

Job Type: Full-Time

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 36, 42, or 48 hours per week available

Job Summary: Health Care Assistants support residents to live their best lives by providing personal care, emotional support, and assistance with daily activities. The role requires compassion, attentiveness, and a commitment to promoting dignity, independence, and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with personal care routines
  • Assist residents at meal times
  • Understand and respond to individual health and wellbeing needs
  • Encourage and support participation in social activities inside and outside the home
  • Promote choice, dignity, independence, and respect
  • Complete and maintain accurate care records

Candidate Requirements:

  • Relevant experience and qualifications valued but not essential
  • Must align with Exemplar Health Care values: fun, integrity, responsiveness, success, teamwork
  • Caring, kind, understanding, and calm personality
  • Ability to manage and defuse challenging situations
  • Energetic, outgoing, and positive attitude
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Minimum of 6 months UK experience in complex care preferred
  • Must be able to work at least 24 hours per week
  • UK work authorisation required (sponsorship not available)
