Canal & River Trust is seeking a Customer Service Administrator to deliver exceptional service and administrative support across its regional waterways. This is a remote, full-time role with monthly travel to the Little Venice, London hub for team collaboration. If you’re organised, empathetic, and confident working independently from home, this is a great opportunity to join a charity making a meaningful impact across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online notice boards
  • Manage cases using the Sugar CRM system, ensuring timely resolution
  • Communicate navigational updates and book lock passages and moorings
  • Log faults and coordinate with contractors to update live notices
  • Support insurance claims and health & safety incident reporting
  • Create customer communications for social media, notice boards, and the website
  • Organise internal and external events and functions
  • Provide general admin support including minute-taking and record updates
  • Use SAP for financial tasks such as raising purchase orders and invoices
  • Maintain accurate records using SharePoint
  • Promote diversity and inclusion across all aspects of Trust life
