My Care Grampian is recruiting compassionate Care Assistants / Support Workers across Inverurie, Insch, Kintore, Kemnay, and surrounding areas. We offer flexible contracts to suit your availability, including full-time, part-time, and weekend-only roles. Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will support clients with daily living activities, personal care, and companionship. You’ll help maintain a safe and positive environment while ensuring clients’ health and wellbeing needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support with meal preparation and medication management
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with light domestic tasks and cleaning
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities (if required)
- Monitor health status and report concerns to healthcare professionals
- Deliver care to individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or behavioural conditions
- Follow health and safety protocols, including administering first aid when necessary
Required Skills and Experience
- Caring nature, patience, and positive attitude
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to commit to a guaranteed hours rota
- willingness to learn and meet My Care’s high standards
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Familiarity with care plans and behaviour management techniques
- Basic IT skills for record keeping
