Job Summary
Care Assistants will visit clients in their homes to provide personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living tasks. The role requires compassion, reliability, and a commitment to supporting wellbeing and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and hygiene needs
- Provide food and drink support
- Carry out manual handling and palliative care duties
- Support with light domestic tasks
- Administer medication as required
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Run errands such as shopping or collecting prescriptions
Candidate Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to own car (required)
- Care Certificate (preferred; training provided if not held)
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous support worker experience (preferred, minimum 1 year)
- Must have UK work authorisation (sponsorship/visa switch not available)
- Willingness to travel (50% required)
