Job Summary
Care Assistants will provide physical and emotional support to residents, including personal care, meal assistance, and social interaction. The role requires attentiveness, compassion, and commitment to maintaining residents’ wellbeing, supported by senior staff and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care and support to residents
- Assist with meals, nutrition, and daily routines
- Provide social interaction and emotional support
- Record resident activity accurately and report concerns promptly
- Work collaboratively with seniors and management to ensure high standards of care
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in care home settings (required)
- Driving licence (required)
- Skills in dementia care and care planning are advantageous
- Compassionate, reliable, and able to work in a busy environment
- Must be able to work on a 3-on/3-off rolling rota
