Marton Road Pharmacy is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join its community pharmacy team in Bridlington. This is a full-time role with a strong clinical focus, offering opportunities to deliver both NHS and private services while developing advanced skills in a progressive, service‑led environment.
Role Overview
You will deliver a wide range of NHS and private clinical services, provide expert patient care, and ensure safe dispensing practices. This role is ideal for pharmacists who want to expand their clinical expertise and contribute to community healthcare development.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Services
- Deliver NHS services: CPCS, NMS, structured medication reviews, hypertension case finding, smoking cessation, seasonal vaccinations
- Provide private services: travel health consultations, weight management, private prescribing (if qualified), health screenings
- Offer expert advice on medicines and minor ailments
- Promote health and wellbeing through proactive engagement
- Ensure safeguarding and confidentiality standards
- Dispensing & Operations
- Ensure safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions
- Maintain compliance with GPhC standards and SOPs
- Support workflow management and supervise pharmacy staff
- Service Development
- Identify opportunities to expand clinical offerings
- Contribute to achieving service KPIs and patient satisfaction
- Support business growth through high‑quality service provision
Candidate Requirements
- Registered Pharmacist with GPhC
- Strong clinical knowledge and patient‑focused approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deliver NHS advanced/enhanced services
- Commitment to CPD
- Independent Prescriber qualification (or willingness to train)
- Background in service‑led community pharmacy
