Job Summary
Healthcare Assistants will support a teenage boy with complex health needs, ensuring he can safely attend school. The role requires building a positive relationship, delivering hands-on care, and promoting independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility support
- Assist with meals, hydration, and dietary needs
- Administer medication and support clinical/complex health needs
- Encourage participation in activities and social interaction
- Monitor health and wellbeing, reporting changes promptly
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Maintain accurate documentation and clear communication with the care team
Candidate Requirements
- Confident with medication administration, personal care, and moving/handling
- Patient, reliable, and compassionate attitude
