Summary
Building Spatial Intelligence is seeking an Events & PR Lead to own and develop our events programme and public profile. This role plays a key part in how we present ourselves to the market while the business is undergoing rapid expansion, from exhibitions and conferences to media engagement and thought leadership.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality events, supporting speakers with strong presentations and messaging, and building relationships with industry publications and outlets. Working closely with senior leadership, marketing and sales, you will help position Building Spatial Intelligence as a trusted authority in digital spatial intelligence, BIM, IoT and estate strategy across education, healthcare, and the public sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and deliver exhibitions, conferences, and industry events
- Coordinate stand design, event logistics, and marketing materials
- Prepare, structure, and refine presentations, speeches, and supporting content for events
- Support senior leaders and speakers with messaging, narrative, and slide content
- Represent Building Spatial Intelligence at events and support networking and lead generation
- Build and maintain relationships with event organisers, partners, and sponsors
- Identify and secure speaking opportunities, panels, and roundtables
PR and Communications
- Manage PR activity including press releases, announcements, and award submissions
- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant industry publications, media outlets, and platforms
- Secure editorial coverage and contribute to industry commentary where appropriate
- Coordinate case studies, news stories, and thought-leadership content
- Ensure consistent messaging across all external communications
Strategy and Reporting
- Align events and PR activity with wider business and marketing objectives
- Track event performance, media coverage, and lead outcomes
- Provide clear reporting and insight to inform future strategy
Qualifications and Skills
Essential
- Proven experience in events management, PR, communications, or a related role
- Strong presentation, storytelling, and written communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident working with and advising senior stakeholders
- Comfortable representing a business in professional environments
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take ownership
Desirable
- Experience in the built environment, education, healthcare, or public sector
- Experience preparing presentations or speeches for senior leaders
- Familiarity with B2B marketing and lead generation
- Existing relationships with industry publications or event organisers
