Research Project Support Officer – School of Environmental & Natural Sciences, Bangor University (Fixed‑term, full‑time). Salary: £30,805 – £37,174 p.a. (Grade 6). Contract until 30 April 2027. The post is funded by Cancer Research Wales.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide desk‑based research support to the team, including data collection, data entry, literature searches and assistance with the design and implementation of research.
- Analyse publicly available gene‑expression data for primary tumours, metastases, and non‑tumour tissues, with a focus on the Hox family of transcription factors.
- Assist with statistical analyses of data and support the preparation of materials for publication, conferences and stakeholder presentations.
- Participate in the administration of the research project: arranging meetings, monitoring financial controls, gathering invoices, and preparing financial reports.

- Participate in performance reviews and developmental activities.
