The opportunity
We are looking for a hungry, ambitious and self-motivated Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales and outreach pipeline.
Experience in Saas, Recruitment, Training or education a bonus.
You will be comfortable creating opportunities from oureach marketing, building relationships, and turning conversations into commercial results.
You will work closely with our marketing team and CEO to develop effective outbound campaigns and sales strategies, while taking ownership of your own pipeline from first contact through to close.
Key responsibilities
- Own and develop the sales and outreach pipeline, ensuring consistent activity and strong conversion.
- Build and manage your own pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, referrals and relationship building.
- Create and execute email outbound sales strategies.
- Identify, engage and qualify prospective customers across relevant sectors.
- Run discovery calls, product demonstrations and commercial conversations.
- Develop proposals, manage negotiations and close new business.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns, messaging, lead generation and follow-up activity.
- Use sales data and market feedback to improve targeting, messaging and commercial strategy.
- Maintain accurate records and forecasting within CRM and sales systems.
- Represent the business at networking events, meetings and industry opportunities.
- Contribute ideas to our evolving sales process, go-to-market approach and growth strategy.
Requirements
- What we’re looking for
- At least five years’ sales experience, ideally in Saa S, technology, recruitment, training or a related B2B environment.
- A proven record of building and converting your own sales pipeline.
- Strong experience with technology and Saa S platforms, including CRM systems and digital sales tools.
- Experience in recruitment, learning and development, training, HR technology or a closely related sector is highly desirable.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Commercially confident, organised and comfortable working toward ambitious targets.
- A proactive networker who enjoys opening doors and building lasting relationships.
- Self-motivated, resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced, growing business.
- Strategic enough to shape an approach, and hands-on enough to deliver it.
- A full UK driving licence and access to transport, with flexibility to travel when needed.
