About the role
We are seeking a passionate Digital Marketing Lecturer to join our academic team and help deliver an exceptional student experience.
You will teach across undergraduate and foundation year programmes, bringing digital marketing concepts to life through engaging, industry relevant learning.
The role involves supporting student success, delivering high quality teaching and assessment, and contributing to the ongoing development of our programmes.

- What you’ll be doing
- Deliver engaging and high quality teaching across Digital Marketing modules within Higher Education programmes.
- Teach and support students across key digital marketing disciplines including SEO, PPC, paid social, content marketing, email marketing, analytics, campaign planning and digital strategy.
- Create an inclusive and interactive learning environment that encourages participation, critical thinking and academic success.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, workshops and tutorials that connect theory with current industry practice.
- Develop teaching materials, learning resources and activities that support a positive student learning experience.
- Design, set and mark assessments in line with module learning outcomes, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Monitor student progress, attendance and engagement, offering academic guidance and support where required.
- Support students with academic skills development, employability and progression opportunities.
- Contribute to module reviews and curriculum enhancement activities to ensure content remains current and industry relevant.
- Participate in moderation, standardisation and other quality assurance activities as required.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of developments in digital marketing, AI, automation and emerging technologies, incorporating these into teaching where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas, resources and best practice.
Requirements
What we’re looking for
Essential
- Degree or equivalent in Digital Marketing, Business Management or Digital Business.
- Teaching experience within Higher Education, Further Education, or professional training environments.
- Industry experience in digital marketing or a related field.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience designing and delivering assessments and providing academic feedback.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary academic team.
- Commitment to student success, inclusion, and academic excellence.
Desirable
- Understanding of AI applications within marketing and emerging digital technologies.
- Experience supervising student projects, dissertations, or work-based learning activities.
- Experience working with diverse student cohorts and supporting widening participation initiatives.
