Role Overview
- Classroom Support: Assisting in classroom activities, which may include:
- Assisting with lesson preparation and planning.
- Setting up equipment and materials for lessons.
- Helping students with assignments or classwork.
- Teaching and supervising students during activities.
- Providing additional explanations or assistance to individual students who need extra help.
- Grading and Assessment: Teaching assistant may be responsible for:
- Grading assignments, quizzes, exams, or other assessments.
- Providing feedback to students on their work.
- Recording grades and maintaining accurate records of student performance.
- Tutoring and Small Group Instruction: Teaching assistant may work with students individually or in small groups to provide:
- Additional support for students who are struggling with the material.
- Enrichment activities for students who need extra challenges.
- Remedial instruction to help students catch up on missed concepts.
- Administrative Tasks: Teaching assistant may be required to perform various administrative duties, such as:
- Setting up and maintaining classroom technology.

What You’ll Bring

- Ability to communicate clearly with teachers and younger individuals
- Ability to create an encouraging learning environment for pupils

- Excellent knowledge of lessons that pupils are required to learn in class
- Ability to carry out tasks involving a computer or hand‑device
- Ability to remain calm during stressful situations
