What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging online and face to face tuition sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Prepare and deliver high quality lessons using approved resources and teaching materials.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality and accurate student records, including lesson and progress reports.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents and staff regarding progress, scheduling and any concerns.
- Support student engagement, participation and academic development in a safe and inclusive environment.
- Attend meetings, reviews and training sessions as required.
- Follow all Company policies relating to safeguarding, equality, confidentiality and GDPR compliance.
- Contribute to curriculum development and uphold high teaching and delivery standards.
- Manage scheduling responsibly, including lesson rescheduling, cancellations and timely submission of timesheets and invoices.
- Represent School of Coding professionally and demonstrate integrity, diligence and commitment to continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
Essential- Minimum pass (4) at GCSE in English, Mathematics.
- Speciality subject at least a grade 7-9 or degree (Computer Science, Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong IT skills and confidence using online learning platforms and digital tools.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple students or sessions effectively.
- Professional, reliable and punctual approach to work.
- Positive, motivated and student focused attitude.
- Creative and detail orientated approach to lesson planning and delivery.
- Willingness to accept feedback and attend meetings, training and reviews.
- Experience delivering both online and face to face tuition.
- Experience working within education, tutoring or training environments.
- Familiarity with safeguarding and GDPR requirements in education resources.
- Experience supporting curriculum development or educational resources.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and abilities.
