School of Coding & AI is a growing, mission-driven education and technology organisation that delivers coding, digital skills and AI education across the UK and several European countries. We run multiple sub-brands / verticals (e.g. SOC Alternative Education, SOC Technologies, SOC Cyber Security, etc.) under our umbrella. We believe in combining high quality technology education with strong, relevant brand identity and communication. As we expand, we are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to support and unify the visual voice across all of our brands.

Role Overview

You will be a central creative resource, working on design tasks for all SOC brands. You’ll translate brand strategy into visuals, working across both digital and print media. Your work will include brand identity, visual content for marketing and educational materials, social media assets, web graphics, and more. You will collaborate with marketing, content, product, education, and operations teams to ensure visual consistency, innovation, and high quality output across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, refine, and maintain visual identity and branding assets for each SOC sub-brand.
  • Design social media graphics & animations (static posts, carousels, motion graphics, video covers).
  • Design logos, brand marks, icons, and supporting identity systems.
  • Produce website visuals: banners, hero images, infographics, illustrations, UI imagery.
  • Develop offline materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, event signage, merchandise and more.
  • Create online marketing materials: email campaigns, digital ads, landing page graphics, presentations.
  • Adapt creative layouts for different platforms and formats, ensuring visual coherence.
  • Ensure all assets adhere to brand guidelines and style consistency across brands.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with other teams (marketing, web dev, content, education) to integrate visuals effectively.
  • Keep up with design trends, techniques, and tools, and propose new ideas and creative directions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer (in-house or agency), with evidence of work across multiple brands or clients.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both print and digital design work.
  • High proficiency in design tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and ideally motion / video tools (After Effects, Premiere, Figma, XD, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of typography, colour theory, layout, visual hierarchy.
  • Knowledge / experience in responsive / web design, digital asset preparation, and print production.
  • Ability to adapt design style to different brands while maintaining overall consistency and quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to take feedback and iterate.
  • Strong time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail and consistency across all outputs.

(Optional / Bonus) Experience in educational / edtech sectors; familiarity with educational content design.
