Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Librarian to join our busy and successful Prep School for September 2025 overseeing the School Libraries (in both the Prep and Pre-Prep) and managing all associated functions.
You will be responsible for promoting and encouraging access to reading and information for all pupils and staff and committing to help pupils become confident, independent learners with a real love of books and reading.
Pinewood School is set in 84 acres of rolling countryside on the border between Wiltshire and Oxfordshire and offers a quality, family-based, co-educational day and boarding environment for over 400 children aged 3-13.
The position is required during the term-time plus staff inset training days and up to 1 week during the summer holiday to prepare for the academic year ahead. The role may be worked on either a part-time (ideally 4 days per week) or full-time basis and this will be agreed in advance with the successful candidate.
