Hours: 12:00pm-5:30pm Mon-Fri, term-time only

We are seeking an efficient and well-organised Assistant Librarian with strong administrative and IT skills, and excellent interpersonal qualities.

In November 2021, we opened the Woodward Building, featuring a state-of-the-art Learning Resource Centre (LRC). The LRC houses our library, independent study zones, collaborative spaces, and Learning Support department. It offers a comprehensive collection of printed and digital resources, along with dedicated reading areas and the Accelerated Reader Scheme for younger students.

The Assistant Librarian role is from 12:00pm to 5:30pm during term-time. The successful candidate will work alongside our full-time Librarian during afternoon sessions and oversee the LRC during the after-school hours (4:00pm – 5:30pm). The Library operates from 8:00am to 5:30pm.

Teachers can book the space for classes, and lower school English classes have dedicated library time. Sixth Form students also use this space for independent study. During breaks, the LRC serves as a quiet area for learning and reading.

The Library uses the Accessit management system. Full training will be provided if needed.
