Let's be honest, most GP partner adverts start the same way. They tell you how busy the practice is, how successful they are, and that an exciting opportunity has arisen. However, we want to ask a different question: Do you want a real say in how a practice runs, grows, and looks after its patients and staff?

We are not advertising because someone has left or because we need to plug a gap. We are advertising because we want the right person. Someone who wants to be involved, who values teamwork, shared responsibility, and a long-term vision. This is about finding someone who is the right fit for the surgery. We are less interested in how long you have been qualified and more interested in how you work with others. You do not need all the answers on day one; after all, who has? You do need to want to be part of the future and to see partnership as collaboration, not hierarchy.

Main duties of the job:
  • Partnership with an equal voice regardless of sessions worked
  • No upfront buy-in and profits shared fairly in line with your sessions
  • Supported by an experienced and approachable management team
  • Eight weeks annual leave plus bank holidays, study leave, sabbatical options
  • Access to a health cash plan and assistance programme
  • Opportunities to shape the surgery through leadership, development, and portfolio interests
  • Optional involvement in our dedicated research team
  • Opportunity to help with training the next generation of GPs

Salary will be paid through Partner drawings and profit allocation, with full details discussed when you visit the surgery.

About us:

As part of a forward-facing PCN, you will play an active role across the wider network. With shared back office support and PCN led clinical services, you will have the opportunity to influence and shape outstanding care for a population of over 44,000 patients. We value teamwork, honesty, humour, and mutual respect. Previous partnership experience is welcome but not essential. We are equally happy to talk to someone considering partnership for the first time, provided they bring curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to learn. There is no upfront buy-in. Financial arrangements, drawings, profits, and responsibilities are discussed openly and fairly.

If this has made you curious, that is probably enough to start a conversation. We actively encourage informal chats and visits. Come and meet us, walk the sites, talk to the team, have a cup of tea, and get a feel for who we are and how we work.
