Shirley Boys' High School is a single-sex school serving the eastern suburbs of Christchurch. Our purpose is to prepare rangatahi to succeed in their world through high-quality teaching with a focus on strong and positive relationships.
We are seeking a caring, qualified counsellor to join our growing pastoral network. This is a 21-hour per week fixed-term position that commences at the beginning of Term 3, 2025, and finishes on 5 December 2025.
The successful applicant will be a registered counsellor, preferably with experience working in schools or with adolescents, have a passion for developing young men, be able to maintain networks with external agencies, and demonstrate a commitment to the wider life of the school.
