Christchurch Girls’ High School Christchurch Girls’ HighSchool |Te Kura o Hine Waiora is a leading state day andboarding school for Years 9-13 students, located in the heart of ChristchurchCity by Hagley Park.

We are seeking a highly-motivated and enthusiastic teacherwho is an inspirational and innovative leader, with a passion for girls’education, to lead the Art Department.

The HoD will prioritise a relational and responsive culturewhile shaping a future focused curriculum, with a desire to continue to developand strengthen the co-curricular side of art.

The successful candidate will foster a team spirit ofcollaboration amongst staff and encourage and engage in reflective practice.They will promote and enact the school vision and values and advocate forequitable and excellent outcomes, improving outcomes for all learners.

All teachers are AKO teachers and play an important role inthe pastoral and co-curricular life of the school and contribute to the wideraspects of the school community.
