Job Summary:

We are looking for Chemistry tutors who can go to student\’s homes in Burnaby, New West, Tri-Cities, Surrey or North/West Van.

Note:

We are not looking for summer tutors. We need tutors in place for the busy school year starting in September. We do not promise tutoring assignments because it depends on the students\’ needs at that time.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing student\’s needs and developing a plan to help them succeed
• Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation and assignments.
• Teaching skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills, and approaches to answering test questions
• Providing students with positive and constructive feedback
• Offering feedback on progress to students\’ parents
