Pinehurst Primary School is a two form entry school with Nursery provision for 2 and 3 year olds in the heart of Anfield. They will offer class cover as well as working in Year 6 with small groups and 1-1.

About the Role
The Headteacher and Local Governing Body of Pinehurst Primary School wish to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our committed team.
The role will be primarily to provide class cover, class support in year 6 and small group intervention and / or tutoring.
We require an individual who can provide flexible support across the school. This will include planning for and teaching whole classes.
Experience of teaching phonics through the Read Write Inc programme and Maths through ‘Maths No problem’ would be desirable. In addition to this, experience of Upper Key Stage 2, 1-1 and small group teaching and intervention support would be valuable for the role.
This temporary role may suit someone who is an ECT or looking to begin ITT who would like to further their experience of working across a Primary School.

- Liaise with the SENCO and outside agencies
- Take an active involvement in planning and deliver high quality lessons

The role is offered on a temporary basis to cover the need in Year 6 this year and an absent staff member due to maternity leave.
