About the Role
We're looking for an experienced ICT Field Engineer to join our dynamic team, providing hands-on technical support and guidance to schools across the Essex area. If you thrive on solving challenges, love variety, and enjoy engaging directly with end-users, this role is for you!
Responsibilities
- Support schools on-site daily, resolving ICT issues and ensuring seamless operations, building trusted relationships with school staff.
- Provide remote assistance via our ICT Service Desk when required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Office 365 applications, Google Workspace, and network infrastructure.
- Participate in ICT projects, including network upgrades and security enhancements.
- Respond to critical incidents, implementing temporary or permanent solutions for server, switch, and internet failures – even in cases of physical disruptions such as floods.

What will you bring to the Role?
- An experienced, hands-on technical support engineer with a good working knowledge covering small organisations or school networks.
- A proven ability to work with others to deliver and manage a wide range of programmes & projects to meet our customer and third-party objectives.
- Confidence and ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing particularly with internal business users and external vendors.
- Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS and a Right to Work in the UK.
