About Schologists
We are building Pebble, a government funded cognitive assessment and remediation gamified therapy used in schools and designed for future NHS integration. Our system combines psychology, AI and Unreal Engine technology. Characters and interface design are central to how young people experience the platform. They must feel credible, responsive and technically solid inside the engine.
The Level We’re Looking For
- This role is suited to someone early in their career but already confident working independently inside Unreal Engine.
- Be comfortable navigating Unreal without supervision
- Understand how to implement UI using UMG
- Be able to rig characters for real time use
- Understand how your assets connect to Blueprint systems
- Be able to troubleshoot integration issues independently
You do not need years of industry experience. You do need genuine hands on Unreal experience and a portfolio that proves it.
The Role
- Rig and prepare characters for use inside Unreal
- Ensure characters and UI function correctly with Blueprint logic
- Optimise assets for performance
- Work closely with developers to maintain clean implementation
Characters in our platform actively guide young users. Rig quality and subtle movement matter.

- Strong practical experience in Unreal Engine
- Experience rigging characters for real time environments
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
What This Role Is Not
- This is not a pure concept art position.
- This is not a training role for someone new to Unreal. You must already be comfortable working inside the engine.
